By implementing innovations in the lighting industry, we have moved away from the point of stagnation that has prevailed for some time. From September 14th to 16th, we participated in Infobip Shift in Zadar, the largest technology event in the region, where we presented a new way of using light through collaboration with Infobip and their expertise in technology and artificial intelligence.
The event lasted two days and was an ideal opportunity to showcase Borealiss for the first time — our latest product, which we had already announced on social media. It is a system that enables lighting fixtures to connect with mobile devices via WhatsApp, turning light into a means of communication. In a simple way, through messages, the user can create an atmosphere for socializing, reading, or simply control basic commands such as turning the light on and off.
But Borealiss goes beyond atmosphere. Its greatest value lies in safety. The system detects errors or potential life-threatening situations in real time and immediately notifies the user. This innovation is currently pending patent approval and will have its world premiere in 2026 at the prestigious Light + Building conference in Frankfurt, where it will present a new standard of comfort and safety to the public.
Infobip Shift was more than just a presentation for us. It was an entry into the world of artificial intelligence and an opportunity to explore all its possibilities. Until now, we have primarily focused on hardware development, but through this partnership, we have discovered the power of software and integration that opens completely new horizons for our projects.
We believe that such changes are inevitable and that new technologies should be embraced in order to continue growing and creating value. A new way of living is already arriving, and we are excited and can’t wait for the moment when Borealiss enters your homes and public spaces.
